Updated May 29, 2020:
We want to thank all of our patients for your continued support and patience during our transition back to work - your overwhelming encouragement and appreciation have been wonderful. Thank you all for adhering to the new office procedures, it has made the transition a little easier when everyone is on board! Hopefully all of the safety precautions we are taking now will pay off in the long run and we will never have to do this ever again - fingers crossed! Please know that we are trying our best to call people back and get them scheduled as efficiently as we can, but we know that sometimes it is taking a few days to return calls and we apologize for that. Don’t hesitate to leave another message or simply e-mail us at PFCPatient@gmail.com with appointment requests (sometimes it’s easier to coordinate via e-mail). We have decided to expand our operating hours and will continue to do so as demand grows.
Tuesday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Wednesday 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Thursday 8:30am - 4:30pm
Friday 1:00pm - 4:00pm **coming soon…stay tuned!
Please call the office (978)464-0110 and leave a message for someone to return your call or you may e-mail the office at PFCPatient@gmail.com to request an appointment as well. We are trying out a new scheduling program that has the ability to text you the appointment information and to remind you of your appointment, so look for that message to come after your appointment has been scheduled (if you have provided your cell phone number to us in the past). Please read the below treatment protocol that will be in place for your visit. The highlights are:
the door will be locked - please wait outside or in your car until you are signaled to come into the office
please wear a mask
your temperature will be taken upon entering the office - if you have a temperature above 100.5F then you will not be treated
no modalities will be offered at this time (heat, ice, electrical stim), but cold laser will be available during your treatment (if requested) for an additional charge
Cindy and Kelly will NOT be working this week, so it will only be Dr. Morgan and the patient in the office at any given time
I understand that these are challenging times and hopefully we will not have to implement these requirements for very long, but for now our goal is to limit exposure risk as best as we can. Thank you for your patience, understanding, and cooperation.
Dr. Morgan
TREATMENT PROTOCOL
Updated on April 27, 2020: (revised 4/28/2020)
Hello! Cindy and I hope that you all are doing well (as well as can be) and we want you to know that we have been discussing options and making preliminary plans to re-open the office. That being said, we do not have a specific date in mind and it definitely won’t be this week. As mentioned previously, we appreciate all of the messages and conversations we’ve had with many of our clients and thank you so much for understanding - we are extremely fortunate to have such a wonderful community of patients.
Please know that we are taking into consideration many factors (first of which is patient safety) while planning for the re-opening date. The office and treatment experience will most assuredly be different going forward, especially in the short term. These are things that will likely be implemented:
office to be opened on a limited basis (2-3 days per week)
Cindy, Kelly, and even Trey :-( will not be in the office in order to reduce viral exposure risk, but also because children are out of school for the rest of the year
Dr. Morgan will check his own temperature prior to start of each work shift
patients will be allowed in the office one-at-a-time so that there is never more than two people (the doctor and patient) in the entire office at any time (with exception of other family members that are being treated during the same time frame)
we ask that you try to come to your appointment alone; if you are unable, then please limit the number of people/children with you as there will not be any seating options in the waiting room or supervision from front desk staff
the office front door will be locked to the outside so that no one may enter the office during a patient’s treatment - there will not be an option to sit and wait in the waiting room
temperature checks will be performed on patients upon entering the office (using a non-contact infrared thermometer) and any patient registering over 100.5F will be asked to reschedule and, based on the presence of other symptoms, might be directed to contact their PCP and/or present to the hospital/ER
everyone will wear a mask or face covering for the duration of their visit - a soft mask is encouraged so that when lying face down it’s less uncomfortable on your face
no modalities will be offered for the time-being (this includes heat, ice, electrical stim)
cold laser will be available during the treatment
all payment options will be available, but we will be offering credit card payments using the Square card reader for a touchless payment option and we also will be waiving the $2 convenience charge for the time-being
rescheduling appointments might be different in the short-term meaning that most patients will be put on an “as-need” basis instead of scheduling out weeks in advance because the days/times of the week the office is open might change
after the patient has exited the office, all contacted surfaces will be sanitized prior to the next patient being allowed to enter the office and Dr. Morgan will put on a clean t-shirt after each patient (dressing more casual will be easier for laundering and more convenient/efficient between patients)
we are considering the option of texting you when we are ready for you to enter the office for your appointment
As always, feel free to e-mail me at PFCPatient@gmail.com with any questions/comments or just to check in! We’ll keep you updated as we decide what the next steps will be.
Michael, Cindy, Gracie and Trey

Updated on April 9, 2020:
Thank you for all of the kind words many of you have sent along via e-mail, they are greatly appreciated! I cannot believe the office has been closed for three weeks and still there is no clear answer as to when we will be able to reopen. It’s starting to get to me, I have to admit, but I’m trying to keep myself busy with projects like redoing my brick patio and organizing 20-years of digital pictures, as well as continue with exercise including bike trainer rides, at-home body-weight workouts, outside CrossFit workouts, and family yoga sessions. I hope all of you are able to keep active because I’ve noticed it helps with the mental/emotional stressors A LOT! If nothing else we are going for two long walks per day (3-6 miles) as a family and this last time Gracie brought some sidewalk chalk with her to decorate trees, rocks, and telephone poles with peace signs, hearts, and happy faces with hopes that it will bring some happiness to passersby.
Not much else to report for now! This is the closest I’ve ever come to breaking down and signing up for a social media account so that I can better stay in touch (with patients and friends), but I just can’t bring myself to do it! So for now, keep e-mailing me at PFCPatient@gmail.com and I’ll stay connected that way.
Be active!
Dr. Morgan
Updated on April 1, 2020: (this is not a joke!)
Yesterday, Charlie Baker stated during a press conference that chiropractic services are considered essential which prompted patients to contact the office and myself inquiring about re-opening. I immediately went on the governor’s website and sent him an e-mail stating the following:
“Mr. Baker,
I am a chiropractor practicing in Princeton, MA and I decided that closing my office on March 18, 2020 due to COVID-19 was the moral and ethical thing to do. I am in constant close contact with up to 25-30 patients per day and the risk of cross-contamination from patient-to-patient, as well as risk of exposure to my wife and daughter, is too high to continue practicing at this time. I was shocked to hear chiropractors singled out today as part of the essential businesses. Normally, chiropractors as a profession would LOVE to be recognized as essential, in a time of strict social distancing to prevent further/rapid spread of the this virus I believe chiropractors should NOT be treating patients. Instead, I have decided to volunteer my time and health care services through the MA Responds program. Please reconsider naming chiropractors as essential businesses.”
I hope all of you know that I would love nothing more than to return to work (and generate an income!), but I honestly believe that keeping the office closed at this time is still the correct choice. The total number of people infected and/or dying from COVID-19 is still on the rise and isn’t expected to reach peak numbers until mid-April, and that’s if we remain under strict social distancing and stay-at-home guidelines. I hope all of you continue to do your part during these trying and bizarre times.
Please feel free to e-mail me at PFCPatient@gmail.com with any questions or comments.
Be well,
Dr. Morgan
Updated on March 27, 2020:
Strange days indeed! This is by far the longest stretch I have ever gone in my 13-year career without working and let me tell you it’s starting to get to me…not to mention, Cindy! Princeton Family Chiropractic remains closed at this time without any projected date to reopen. The more stories I read about COVID-19 survivors from European countries warning of the severity and dangers of this disease the more comfortable I feel about closing and keeping the office closed during this time of ballooning infection rates. I miss interacting with and treating all of my patients, and I know that I’ve put myself behind the 8-ball in terms of social media (because I’m so vehemently opposed to it), but I have decided to create an e-mail address that you may send me messages or questions. I will check my e-mail periodically and respond accordingly. The e-mail address is PFCPatient@gmail.com.
To keep busy I have turned the waiting room of the office into an exercise room where I can continue to train for the half Iron Man, but also a space for Cindy, Gracie and myself to participate in family yoga. A patient sent me a great link to free yoga videos that we have been using and loving. My CrossFit gym coach has also been posting home workouts that I am keeping up with as well. We have also been taking family hikes up Mount Wachusett (keeping social distance of course). I can’t wait for the weather to get warmer so I can run and bike outside! I hope all of you are keeping yourselves active and healthy!!! What else do you have to do?!?!
With Health and Love,
Dr. Morgan
Updated on March 18, 2020:
Dr. Morgan, Cindy, Gracie and Trey have decided to close the office at this time in order to ensure the health and safety of our patients, our family, and our community. This was not an easy decision for us, but we realize that doing our part to limit potential viral exposure is the most important and impactful thing we can do to help those infected individuals that will be seeking care in our hospitals get the treatment they will need. Thank you for your patience, your kind words, and understanding throughout this difficult time. We wish you all continued health and please don’t stop moving! Updates to this website will be posted periodically and we hope to provide care to you and your family in the not-so-distant future.
With Health and Love,
Michael, Cindy, Gracie and Trey
